Ya’ll, now that the weekend has come to an end, my mind is still whirling from the excitement of shooting Brittany and Tripp’s Manteo, NC wedding day. It had been over 5 years since we had shot at Pirate’s Cove Marina. It is such a gorgeous spot and we were so glad that Brittany and Tripp decided to tie the knot at this amazing venue. Brittany and Tripp were the type of couple that make our job absolutely easy. They are both so incredibly laid back and completely put their trust in us. While they valued good photos on their wedding day, they were also super interested in spending as much time as possible with the ones they love celebrating their marriage. The solution? A first look! Brittany and Tripp scheduled their day with an extra hour before the ceremony to drive into Manteo for photos of just the two of them, and it was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. We cannot recommend a first look enough and for any of our future brides that are contemplating it, PLEASE call us and ask us about how much more relaxing it can make the time after your ceremony! While we’ll always remember how beautiful Pirates’s Cove was, how delicious dinner was, how much fun the band was, and how perfectly styled the couple and bridal parties were, it truly is the love that Brittany and Tripp were surrounded by that I will always remember.
